So today I have the OPI Sheer Tints and a little nail art i did with them. Originally i wasn't too thrilled about this collection, but the more I saw of what people were doing with them, the more I wanted them. And a friend mentioned that the mini sets were available at David Jones, so I hightailed it over there to grab one. Yes I broke my no buy *hangs head in shame* but on the other hand I have my very own set of Sheer Tints!

So I'm seriously procrastinating studying and am doing blog posts instead. I just can't hack reading so much stuff and not googling on the side. Since starting studying this morning I've done my hair and my makeup, my nails were polished yesterday so I'm not adding to those yet. Looks like I'm blogging now. 

So I've wanted to do a nail post on my routine and the products I use to make my manicures last. I usually keep the same base for around 5 days and then take it off for a fresh mani and it's rare that I get more than a few tiny chips on my index finger during this time, so here goes!

First up, I have a confession to make. I've spent way too much money on nail polish in the last week and am now on a self imposed buying ban :( But seriously, what's a girl to do when she finds $4 China Glaze polishes and Femme Fatale has a 25% off sale? I also found the OPI Brazil Beach Sandies set for cheap so I had to pick that up too *ashamed face*. So yes, there will be a ban until July, preferably the end of July, let's see if I can last!

On the plus side my Femme Fatale order (which I ordered on Friday) arrived yesterday and it was a long weekend, so really on one working day. I love living in the same city as an Indie polish supplier :). Today I have Margaritaville from liquid Sky Lacquer to show you, it's a green holo thermal! I am so excited!

You may have noticed last post that I took my one and only matte topcoat (Essie's Matte About You) out of hibernation and that was the key to choosing this mani. I wanted something that would *hopefully* look awesome mattified, so I chose a shimmery polish, I also wanted a darkish red colour, so here I present to you Sally Hansen Lacquer Shine in the shade vivid.
