EdM Black Holo Stamping Over Gel

Hi guys,
Just a quick post for you today. If you saw my last post about soak off gel manicures you may have already seen this mani, but I'm going to show it again and go through the steps of how I created it!

I started off with my gel base which is a nice nude pink colour. There's three gel polishes I used to create this! I used 2 coats of Gelish Need a Tan, 2 coats of GellieBeans Candy Heart and 1 coat of Gelish Bashful. All my coats are super thin so the end result was still nicely sheer.

For the stamping I used Emily de Molly plate EDM05 for the single roses and for my thumb and ring fingers I used Moyou London Pro XL07. I stamped all images with Emily de Molly Chasing Rainbows, a lovely black holo polish. I haven't used it as a full mani yet, but I love the strong holo flame! Over the light pink base it came out as more of grey colour, but I am still a fan!

To get the single rose images I only applied polish to a small area of the plate and then scraped away from the image so as not to get polish in unwanted parts of the image. It worked out quite well!

What I really like about this mani is the colour combination, the pale pink and light grey with the lovely sparkly holo! I also like how the accent nails have pink roses and the other fingers have grey roses. The sun wasn't out when I took the photos so i only have flash pics to bring out the holo, but you get the idea! Unfortunately I did get some smudging on some nails when I added top coat. I'm still getting used to stamping on gel!

What do you think of this stamping design? Do you ever just use parts of images?
I'll definitely have to get around to using this beautiful EdM holo on its own sometime!
